It’s Gonna Be Alright

December 31st, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I have been having a really fabulous time with Melissa and Jeanie and Jeanne and Joseph and Darryl (well some of the Darryl time haha). I had a good time with some friends from high school and a wonderful time, albiet short, with Jena.

I am just not in the mood to post. Sorry. I love you. Got to go.

…forever rubbing my hand to my ear…

Singing in my Head

December 31st, 2004 | 12 Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So without sounding like a total loser… I have had this and a few other songs similar stuck in my head for a while…

Ryan Cabrera - True

I won’t talk
I won’t breathe
I won’t move till you finally see
That you belong with me

You might think I don’t look
But deep inside in the corner of my mind
I’m attatched to you
mmmm

I’m weak, it’s true
Cause I’m afraid to know the answer
Do you want me too?
Cause my heart keeps falling faster

[chorus]
I’ve waited all my life to cross this line
To the only thing that’s true
So I will not hide
It’s time to try anything to be with you
All my life I’ve waited
This is true

You don’t know what you do
Everytime you walk into the room
I’m afraid to move

I’m weak, it’s true
I’m just scared to know the ending
Do you see me too?
Do you even know you met me?

[Chorus]
I’ve waited all my life to cross this line

To the only thing thats true
So I will not hide
It’s time to try anything to be with you
All my life I’ve waited
This is true

I know when I go
I’ll be on my way to you
The way that’s true

[chorus]
I’ve waited all my life to cross this line
To the only thing thats true
So I will not hide
It’s time to try anything to be with you
All my life I’ve waited
This is true

Gah, why is it so hard to turn off love for someone? Grrr, I hate love sometimes. I like to think that it will all work out but I don’t think it will ever work if the other person never gives you a chance.

But then I have other songs that are totally different that run through my mind. I just can’t believe those as easily because my current thoughts are that I will be alone forever.

Cher - Song for the Lonely

When you’re standing on the edge of nowhere
There’s only one way up
So your heart’s got to go there
Through the darkest night

See the light shine bright
When hero’s fall, in love or war
They live forever

[Chorus:]
This is a song - for the lonely
Can you hear me tonight
For the broken hearted, battle scared I’ll
Be by your side

And this is a song - for the lonely
When your dreams won’t come true
Can you hear this prayer
‘Coz someone’s there for you

We’ll love don’t need a reason
She can pick you up
Or leave you bleeding
I’ve seen a strong man cry

I know the reason why
We all forgive, we all forget
We just keep believing

[Chorus]

So let it find you
Wherever you may go
I’m right beside you
You don’t have to look no more

You don’t have to look no more, oh no

[Chorus]

It’s gonna be alright
It’s gonna be alright
It’s gonna be alright

This is a song
A song for the lonely

And that’s not you only
Through the darkest night
You’re gonna see the light

Love don’t need a reason
Just to leave you bleeding

Can you hear this prayer
Someone’s there

This is a song - for the lonely
Can you hear me tonight
For the broken hearted, battle scared
I’ll be by your side
And this is a song
for the lonely

Well, I hope the best for him and his future bf who will not be me, though deep down we both know that I want him to realized I am here and willing to make things work this time.

Oh well, I just need to move on. There is really no use in hoping he will let himself love me again. I need to just find my new life, direction and love. God is that scary! I know from the beginning of going to Mizzou that Geoff was the person I wanted to marry some day and wow, to think I have to start over. It makes me think that I just need to move to another school. I hate to say that I would do that, but honestly, looking into my options.

It would sure be easier if all of these damn pop stars were not in love! haha, they keep singing about being in love and then about losing it it. Damn them for putting so much effort into my life’s soundtrack. LoL!!!!

Well, I am going to end this post and start a new one on a different topic. Ciao for a few minutes.

YIKES

America’s w00t

December 28th, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I brought Darryl out to Americas last night for his birthday, which is not really till the 29th but whatev. We had a really great time, as anyone would at this awesome restaurant.

Those are kind of shitty pictures but maybe I can find some really cool ones online somewhere. They are always getting awards for either they awesome food or their amazing interior design. really awesome place.

We then went to Deitrich’s for coffee… I had a Soy Chai, it was really good. I had never had one, perhaps my new drink?

THen what… watched a movie and then the night was finished. We had a good time though.

So i have the membership, week trial, to 24-Hour Fitness… I need to go there really badly. I need to workout, makes me feel so nice.

Well, I am going to head back to my grandmother’s and help her do whatever she asks!

Oh, and went to the doctor about the scary mole, she did a biopsy and said she will have the results in about a week. Here’s to us hoping it is ok. Though I am positive that everything is fine.

Ciao babes, love you.

Life Aquatic

December 27th, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So went to see Life Aquatic tonight with about 13 people from my high school. It was really fun. Found out one of them is as big a Rufus fan as I. That was exciting. Though she was also my Houston Symphony buddy. She also thought that I was always high… not sure why she thought that, whatev.

Anyways, so Life Aquatic… FABULOUS movie. I loved it, especially the Hennessy sailors… yummy. Too bad what happens to them haha.

Seriously, one of the best movies of the year, even if it gets shitty reviews. If you like Rushmore, Royal Tanenbaums or Bottlerocket, you will like this, no, love this movie. Dare I say better than Royal?

I got a 1 week trial membership to 24 hour fitness… had to do some serious flirting but it paid off. Otherwise they charge $20 a day! That is total bullshit, if you ask me…

After the movie I went with my friends to Denny’s for a latenight dinner… That place is getting expensive. Grilled Cheese with Fries is just over $6.00! I could make an entire loaf of bread worth of grilled cheese for that kind of money.

I love Two Step from Missy Elliot. It is on the radio right now as I am typing this, in Starbuck’s parking lot.

After Denny’s I thought about calling Geoff back again but I felt like I would either be annoying him or waking him up… either way it would probably be best to wait till tomorrow. Perhaps he emailed me. No on that one haha. Not like I expected or should have expected it, though would be a nice surprise. >>>smiles<<<

So, once I was finished with Denny’s and ended the “do i call geoff” debat, I headed over to Starbucks to see Darryl. We were supposed to meet up after he got off of work. We went to his place and talked a little bit, watched some TV. It was a good time but I decided to leave around 1 because he has work at 5am. Tomorrow is his birthday so I want to take him out for dinner or something. We shall see.

i keep getting kicked off of AI M and that makes me sad. I guess I should probably just be going to bed anyways. So going to leave the Starbucks parking lot and head for the hills.

I love you.

Landon was Right

December 26th, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I should have listened to Landon… Free wireless internet exists… that would mean $40 more money to spend on my loved ones which equates to, music. haha

love you all, gtg, going shopping with my grandmother soon. YAY!

T-Mobile rocks… and sucks at the same time.

24-Hour Fitness rocks… ciao

Drive Was Hell

December 24th, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I am sitting at a Starbucks, open 24/7, and really enjoying it. No cute guys here but we shall see!

I took pictures of our trip from the rear view window. Here you go!

Now you can’t tell me that was not the most exciting post you have ever witnessed!

Sorry I don’t have more, today was just exhausting! But I am enjoying a great book, Skipping Towards Gommorah. I highly recommend it, thus far.

Off to see the Wizard, ciao!

Poetry as its best worst

Currently: Ben Folds/Rufus Wainwright - Careless Whisper

Truly now…

My love for thee has withered dead,
I’ve healed the scars from where I bled.
I’m stronger than was before,
And I shall be alone no more.
Your wicked heart consumes like fire,
Your evil mind like muck and mire.
I pity you and those you love.
But I am free.
Fuck you.

Regret this I will,
Soon as the sun crosses my windowsill.
I feel my mind wanders far too much,
Reaching back to feel your touch.
Instead of feeling full of grace,
Hatred treads across my face.
How could this happen to we?
For love conquers all…
What an obtuse plea.

But now I must away to bed,
To quell the voices in my head.
The voices fill my heart with fright,
They scream and keep me up at night.
At times I lie awake till dawn,
And not till then the voices gone.

Pray thee not be filled with sorrow,
I shall return when it is morrow.

I know that I such at poetry… forgive me for what I write because it is sooo bad! I woke up and felt the need… As a bonus it is fashioned into the shape of a fox in a sun dress. haha. I need to get back to sleep.

Christmas Tree

December 22nd, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

Ha ha… Our Christmas tree looks just so pitiful this year. I think my parents just threw things together because it looks almost sick! The decorations are I guess just whatever they could find in the boxes because most of them are our home made ones Patrick and I made when we were little kids. Oh well, it is still our tree and here I show it to you. Please, don’t laugh! Though I admit I laugh hahahahaha.

Our house is equally pitiful. But you know what? At least we put some decorations up. My dad and I normally do it and it looks quite prestigious but this year it looks like we got halfway into it and went on a lunch break, never to finish the job. Actually, that is what happened. My dad was working on it and some guests arrived so he had to leave it.

You know we have the smallest house in the neighborhood? That is so fabulous. Really!

Productive Was I Not

So I did not shop nearly as much as I normally would for I could already tell I would be unproductive. I am thinking that I will just shop after Christmas for all of my friends as I will have more money then, I hope, and the stores will not be so crowded. Right now I only need to get something for my father. What I had gotten for my mom I left in Columbia and I am superbly pissed over that.

My aunt has called me twice today. I feel bad not answering her calls but I am still angry for her being such a closed minded twit. She used to be one of my favorite relatives until recently. I was upset to find out she had become such a Bush lover and so anti-liberal.

Oh and that brings us to this years letter from the Bush’s. I don’t believe we are unique in getting this ornament from the Bush family, but the fact that my parents, aunt and grandmother all got these ornaments from the Bush family makes me sick.

So it also came with a letter and a nice little story about the “picturesque” scene depicted in the ornament. Makes me wanna gag. I don’t believe that if Kerry had won the election that any contributor would get this kind of crap. I feel this way because I honestly don’t think that liberals care so much of being recognized for their work.

Now, I know that Al Gore once claimed to have invented the internet and what not… but beyond that little mishap, think of other liberal leaders.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country

-President John F. Kennedy

Get off of your high horse and instead of saying what you have “done”, tell us what you want to do, what you will do and what we can do. I don’t care that Kerry has so much money through his wife, we know how he got his fortune. How about you Bush? Did’nt you get your fortune through your ancestors’ war profiteering when they worked with the Nazi’s? Your family history is that of betrayal yet we are trusting you with the control of our country? What is worse? Marrying for love and getting money or making a profit through the deaths of millions?

What have you actually done for us Bush? Beyond the obvious huge debt, thousands of Americans dead in an unjust war… what exactly have you done that resulted positively for our nation? I am not the only one asking this you know. Even the majority of your cabinet realized the ship you are sailing is on a one way ticket down… They jumped ship, perhaps you should follow suit. Or maybe you will go with the theory that the Captain dies with his vessel. If you do, then act like the nobles of late who actually lead their soilders into battle or at the least would keep watch over them. They actually knew that logistics of war, when to engage, when to pull back and when to pass.

Bush is running us into hell and my family is so happy for it. Reason for not voting for Kerry? First, his wife is crazy, second, he is a weak leader, third, too liberal with social issues.

First - his wife is eccentric, yes. However, she is also a women who came to this country and has made a large impact both nationally and internationally. She has done more for the world than our current First Lady. She is a bit crazy, but you have to be if you are going to help the world. Angelina Jolie is just short of psycho but look at what she has done for Cambodia. Hell, did you know that this crazy woman is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations?

Second - the theory that Kerry is a bad leader because he “faked” all of his Vietnam medals and because he stood up against the government in a war that has now been proven to be more than an effort to destroy a vicious country’s leaders… Vietnam was a lost war and Bush dodged the draft! Even if Kerry had faked some things in the war, he at least went there. He has at least seen battle and served longer than Bush. He also had the courage to stand up to his ranking leaders and express his feelings on the war. Good for him.

Third - allowing gay marriage and abortions is, by constitutional rite, something to be decided by the state, not by the federal level government. Also, by constitutional rite, it is to be decided without any basis on religion. Good luck on that in America. The reason it is being passed to dis-allow gays to marry comes from the evangelical churches across the nation who have lobbied the, ahem, hell out of the Republicans. They turned a social issue into a religious issue and that is not constitutional.

I am just going to quite before I go crazy haha. I love my family but holy shit can they be ignorant. The would not even look at a Democrat for president on the basis that a Republican will always be better.

What dumbshits haha.

Wow, I have been posting a lot on here. So if you visit, make sure you scroll through the day because I probably have posted a LOT. That is a sign that I have too much time on my hands and I should be going out and meeting people… Hmmmmmm, let’s work on that!

Luckily, tomorrow night I will be back in Houston. That is so w00t!!!

I guess I should call my mom and figure out where she is and my dad and figure out where he is so I can figure out my night! I leave tomorrow around 7am so I need to get going with readying my stuff. Damn… I was hoping to get my car looked at today in regards to the CD player and whatnot.

Anyways, I got my tickets to Chicago! Here are the dates.
