Oh man, I love Seth’s cousin, she is so rad. I just bumped into her at Aroma’s, I miss this girl! Barely know her but… yeah, we are going to have to hang out I think. hehe
One girl I don’t care all that much for… haha, is this one.
She was on her fucking phone the entire time we were riding the bus from school to the parking lot at the mall. Not just “on” her phone but having this outrageous conversation, painfully loud for all to hear. I guess she could not feel the eyes burning holes into her, the hands tightening the whispy white scarf around her neck… seriously. Get off the phone. I’m not one to be typically against cellphone usage but in situations like this, close quarters and talking so loud about private’ish issues… .
Rant numero dos. Religious people capitalizing on God, which of course is 90% of religion.
“Great Gifts that will Bless the Spirit”
I am not sure how a yankee candle or those teary eyed bastard children will make your spirit blessed… If it was this easy, surely everyone would be blessed and if everyone is blessed, then no one is blessed. I learned that from the Incredibles (hehe).
I slept through my law class today. I was so freaking tired… probably better that I got the sleep though, I have a test tomorrow in statistics and have to wake up hella early for work so sleep is important.
Kevin might meet me at Aroma’s, where I am now. I am “studying” and listening to one of the best opera CD’s I have ever purchased. Anna Netrebko’s Sempre Libera (with Claudio Abbado & Mahler Chamber Orchestra), go check it out. Highly, HIGHLY recommend her. I also got a few Renee Fleming cd’s, love her!
Opera for eva’ baby!
Time to get back to studying so I am prepared for my test tomorrow! Then sleep, sleep…
Today was Matt’s last day at Starbucks, which is terribly sad to me. He is a freaking awesome guy, even if he is Pat Buchanan’s only fan. ;-) ;-) Have fun in San Diego and law school, however that can be fun.
I leave you with Anna Netrebko’s performance of Verdi’s E Strano! E Strano, a song from his masterpeice, La Traviata, the first real opera I ever saw, and which I saw with Geoff, the first time he put his hand on mine to let me know that we were not there just as friends… Oh, what a magic moment. haha, to be young again… (that was only two years or something ago, holy hell…. haha. I’m aging quickly, better find me a man before I get a wrinkle!
