Meatballs and Bubbley

December 30th, 2005 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

Last night, Jeana, Kayla, Anthony and I hung out for a bit, drank some wine, ate some fabulous bread from a quaint Healdsburg bakery and listened to music.  Anthony had to leave, sad, right as we started making dinner.  We made spegetti and meat balls, caesar salad and parmesan garlic bread.  I brought the champange and desert, a six layer chocolate cake and delicious vanilla ice cream to partner.

We had a blast cooking, and even more fun eating!

After dinner, we deserted the table for the sitting room and ate our cake and ice cream, drank some more of this fabulous Champagne Veuve Clicquot.   It is such a light champange, just floats down your throat, be careful!  Peachy taste to it…

Coincidentally, it was the same champange that the gals were drinking on the episode of Sex in the City we were watching!

Sleep time!  Muah

So Mad I Could Spit

I am so mad right now, my stomach is churning, I feel light headed and shakey. I need to sleep this one off before I just explode.

Just Fuck It

December 27th, 2005 | 2 Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I have not posted in a very long time, nothing regular and I am very sad about that. This journal is my escape, somehow repeating to the world my happiness and troubles makes everything better. Right now I am filled with troubles and filled with happiness. My most recently happiness has more recently become a trouble. This guy I was seeing, as friends and maybe more, suddenly wants nothing to do with me and I dont understand what could have happened. Tings were goign great, and then one day, just totlly out of the blue, he stopped talking to me. I have messaged him and I have called him and I have emailed him and still, nothing. It is compeltely confusing to me. And my battery is dying… I will write more soon!

Winding Road

Made more, yes more, friends. Mark, a really nice guy, we will be great friends. Really liking Ryan, he is partly the reason I have not been updating my blog!

William John called me last night, missed his call because I went to bed really early. I was crying off an on, starting with a gift from Landon.

I’m picking Seth up from the city which is probably not a good idea based on just that it will be a pain to drive into the city today… and possibly worse to get out of it. I just can’t stand to have people struggle, I always want to help, help to make their life better. This normally fucks me over. I told Ryan and he seemed upset… obviously there is nothing between Seth and I… I have’nt talked to him in three weeks, haven’t seen him in months.

Of course, I could just be pessimistic, upset, unrealistic. That is probably it. Congratulations to Jim, David, Patrick and Andrew. I love you and wish you all the best of luck.

I gotta shower and then ditch this ice bucket.

Ugh, Update Wordpress ?

December 22nd, 2005 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

So I updated to Wordpress Release Candidate 3 today and now the wonderful little mouseover image script I used over to the right no longer works.  And when I remove the entire thing, the text still appears… magic text?  It is annoying and I have no solution for it, so I will just have to redo the style sheets from the ground up.

In other news, really love life, lots of pics to post and all.

The Going Ons

December 18th, 2005 | 5 Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I have gone on a few dates and made several new friends and hung out with some really cool people recently… a lot. Seriously, I am so social now that I am not tied down… I love meeting new people and hanging out. Kayla and Jeana have become two of my closest girls, now if Lindsay would call me back! haha, girl, I have so much to tell you LoL!

I am off to bed early tonight. Last night I got 45 minutes of sleep and the night before only 2 hours of sleep and the night before… Yeah, really needing sleep, so by 9:30 I should be half way to sleepy land.

Missed a lot of phone calls and behind on emails and text messages, please forgive me! I will try to catch up soon.

Media Frenzy

December 16th, 2005 | 3 Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I was just talking about this to my brother.  The media have such a way of throwing the facts around.  He used the movie Jarhead as his example, I am using this article.

Since when did this equate to a trend?

2002 1 death
2003 1 death
2004 1 death
2005 3 deaths

That is like saying that in just one year, the number of deaths due to teenaged driving has increased three-fold.  It is misleading.

Same article…

If you read the headline, it says that mixing teenaged drivers with teenaged riders is a “dangerous mix”.  Um, the more teenagers in a car, the less likely there will be an accident. You show it on your very own graph!

This is all politics to get a bill passed to keep 16 year old drivers off the road, well, any driver under 18.  I’m not for or against it, I drove when I was young and did’nt have an accident until I was twenty-one years old!  Bah.

Can’t Escape Missouri

December 16th, 2005 | 1 Comment | Posted in Uncategorized

Somehow Missouri always seems to catch back up with me. Whether it is a dream about Landon or Geoff (both in the past few days) or the news paper, I just can’t get away from that state.

Front and center of our local newspaper out here…

Either the world is too small or I just need to get out of this country. Of course, there could always be the reasoning that I just need to get back to Columbia and Landon…

Santa Drinking Starbucks

How about you get off your fat ass and make me some presents?  How about a Nikon D200 with lens kit?
