Purchases

The past few weeks have been insane.  Having saved up money and having found some incredible deals, I purchased a few things…

24″ iMac Intel 2.33Ghz with 500gb hard drive, 3gb of RAM, 256mb RAM video card.  I also added on Adobe Creative Suite Premium, Aperture, Logic7 and Office.

The 24″ model is the biggest, fastest iMac they make, I’m super excited for it to come in early next week!

And since I got Aperture and Photoshop, I figured I needed a new camera to match!

I got the Nikon D80 D-SLR!  10.2mp camera with an 18-135mm lens!

I’m going to start taking more pictures as I used to do.

I will soon be quite the media mogule.  I also am picking up a 500gb FireWire800 external hard drive.

I Don’t Feel So Well

This medicine is killing me.  I constantly have that feeling, the one when you realize, oops one too many drinks.  I feel at any moment I might be grabbing some cold white…  I threw up while on the phone with my mom this morning, how great is that?

I just wanna say one more thing.  I got a 2gb Sandisk Cruzer with U3 technology… let’s just say this time is amazing.  It runs Mozilla Thunderbird for me so I can check my mail at school in my very own, comfortable environment.  It runs tons of programs right off of the dongle, you gotta get one.  Right now it is only $50 at Best Buy.

Blind Ambition

I found out about a week ago that I could soon lose all ability to see in both eyes within a few years. Turns out I have an “intercellular bacterial infection”. This infection seems to have taken a liking to my optic nerve and cornea. Luckily, we caught it before it did too much damage as I still have vision, albeit not the best vision. Right now my vision is 20/800, a year ago it was 20/600. So, while it wasn’t very good to begin with, now it [i]really[/i] sucks.

The medicine they have me on is pretty rough on my system. Let’s just say that eating isn’t such a good idea… I have lost about 5lbs this week, here’s to that! LoL!

I am trying to keep positive about all of this, though it is kinda hard seeing (pun not intended) that my future could be bleak, literally. Etymology fun, bleak is actually an accidental mistranslation of the Germanic blæc which meant “black”. So there!

Anyway, I have a lot more to post about, lots of great things have been going on through all of this mess.

I will post about that at a later point.

Time to shower up after the gym for a date, whoop!
