Disgusting Facts
So, I thought I was doing sooooo great. I ate a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, two cans of light, low sodium tuna for lunch and then for dinner, at freaking midnight, I go to Jimmy Johns and get a sandwich.  I have always believed that Jimmy Johns was healthy. Ummmm. not at all. It’s basically the same as getting a burrito from Moes! Almost exactly the same nutrition facts. I am thoroughly pissed that I ate that sandwich. I didn’t need it by any means, I could have just gone to bed but I was hungry and didn’t want lunch or breakfast all over again.
Let’s look at the chart below… If you break all the data into three meals, the sandwich has…
| Jimmy Johns | Breakfast and Lunch | Total | ||
| Calories | 882 | 658 | 1540 | |
| Fat | 43 | 7 | 50 | |
| Sat Fat | 10 | 2 | 12 | |
| Cholesterol | 107 | 99 | 206 | |
| Sodium | 2272 | 390 | 2662 | |
| Carbs | 74 | 48 | 122 | |
| Protein | 46 | 96 | 142 | |
| Fiber | 6 | 8 | 14 |
Twice the calories, twelve times the fat, ten times the saturated fat, twice the cholesterol, twelve times the sodium, three times the carbs, almost the exact amount of protein and lesser so, fiber.
Beyond the last two items, protein and fiber, the sandwich is INCREDIBLY less healthy.
But still, only 658 calories for my entire day would be way too low, it’s what I had yesterday. I am going to spend some time later today figuring out a better diet plan, no more Jimmy Johns! I am adding some broccoli to my diet haha, among other things.
I am even reconsidering the nutrition of sushi. I think the information I used to have on the nutritional value might have been way off. That really blows because I am in love with sushi.
Ugh.

Your diet looks fine. In fact, your calorie intake is less than what you are using each day, so, I don’t see what’s wrong. I personally don’t really ever eat Jimmy Johns except those special occassions.
And for sushi, just eat the tuna and salmon with some edamame.
