To Upgrade or Not To Upgrade?

I have this new iBook, well new to me, there is no such thing as a new iBook of course.Â It has 512mb of ram, a 1.33ghz G4 processor and OSX 10.3.9…Â I want to upgrade it to 10.4.6.

That means, upgrading the ram and the operating system.Â And lucky me, Mizzou gives you Mac OS for about half price and the ram is half the Apple price too! It will be $200 to upgrade, I just need to figure out if it is worth it.Â I am not sure how much I will be using the computer but I find myself more and more inclined to carry it with me than my Dell laptop.
