What a difference a year makes

This time last year I was driving a moving van halfway across the country. The days before were dedicated to packing up our home in Columbia, for the second time in a matter of months. The first packing up occurred May 2010 as I moved out of my precious District apartment in the Fredrick.

It was my first apartment without a roommate. Leaving that home and moving in with Ryan was an exciting time for me. We’d been living between two homes for three years. Ending my time at the place that brought me so much independence and growth was intense. Continue reading

Fontainebleau – Merry Christmas!

Hello from France!

Yesterday we went shopping at the boulangerie, patisserie, poissonnerie, fromagerie… in Fontainebleau.  It was awesome, just a beautiful.  Here are a few pictures from the that trip as well as a quick trip to a few neighboring villages.  Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to put some photos from our hotel which is beautiful, quaint and right off the river.  AMAZING!

Oh and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Sweater Party

Few people throw parties as fun, eclectic and loud as Chase, Corey and Sam (@clettenberg @coreyschmidt and @samuelaveryhunt). You might remember their awesome Halloween party a few months ago…

Well they did it again. This time a Christmas Sweater party. Oceans of people showed up for the music, the dancing, the jello shots. Oh and what great music and dancing. I’m increasing impressed with all the straight guys who dig Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus‘s “Party in the USA“. They really took over the dance floor that night.

I wasn’t sure if I should be questioning my sexuality or theirs. 😛

This is one of those posts where pictures speak louder than words. See below!

Thanks Chase, Corey and Sam for the awesome party, letting me be apart of it and for just being three of the best friends a guy could have. I think I speak for all that attended the last party when I ask…

When’s the next party?!

Packing My Bags, I’m Ready to Go!

In just an hour and thirty minutes the bus will pick me up to bring me to the airport in St Louis.  From there I’ll fly to Washington DC, then to Paris France!  I’ll meet up with the family in Paris for Christmas, travel around the country to various friends’ for celebration, fun and catching up.   Then I’ll be off to Bahrain for New Years!  Really excited about that.  After Bahrain I’ll be jetting off to Saudi Arabia, exploring around the country, making photos, having an awesome time.

I am all sorts of excited about the trip and hope to keep you all informed of my adventures here and on my Twitter. Wanna help?  Leave me some suggested sites to visit in the comments!

Sun Sets on Texas

Oh, sad face! It’s time for me to go back to Columbia, MO.

I had a wonderful time here in Texas. I got to see lots of family, I got to open some fun gifts and I got to take some pictures!

Wait, what?! You haven’t seen some of the new stuff? Shameful! Here’s one, just as a teaser…

You can, of course and as usual, see more at JustinMooreScott.com which has about half of the new pictures up.  Maybe tomorrow I’ll get the rest online, including the one posted above.  I’ve just been too busy!

Alright friends. Time for me to get some sleep.  I have a plane to catch and actually have to wake up in four hours to get ready so I can catch it!  Love to you all, please visit the photoblog and leave comments.  I love to read your comments.
