Max Ashton Throws a Strike

A former Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) student tosses out first pitch at Game Four of the 2011 National League Division Series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers. Max Ashton, graduate of the FBC, throws a perfect strike. Did I mention he’s blind?

This video made my day. With all the bad news in the news these days, sometimes you need a video like this to boost your spirits. We need more videos like these.

3,200 Calories Later

I rode 42 miles today on the MKT Trail. It was fun and totally wore me out. Check out the pictures on PiczarPhoto.com and let me know what you think. I’m totally exhausted from the ride. I used to do marathon cycling regularly but I’m way out of shape.

Hands Free

I guess actually finishing the 42 mile ride with a 10mph average speed isn’t so bad but I used to do that in about twice the speed. Course then I was on a road bike and today I took out my hybrid cycle. All I know is that I’m going to do it more, it was so freeing. Maybe I can get Ryan to join me next time.
