Just got word today that my photography was featured in the latest edition of The National Culinary Review. I am being sent two copies, one for me and one for Chef Cyr of The Wine and Cheese Bistro here in Columbia.
I have proofs of some select pages in the magazine though, here’s the cover and the contents page. You can see my picture there as a lead image for a story. Pictures appear again from page 34. I’m not sure how many or which at this point but either way it’s very exciting.
Next stop, Rolling Stones and Vogue! haha
I’ll post scans as soon as my editions come in. Oh and I got a byline this time around. Awesome!
I am just sooooo freaking proud of you! MUAH! Congratulations!

Awesome Justin! Keep up the great work
Congratulations! Food photography is not as easy as people think, and doing it well is a big accomplishment.

@ Dave2:
Thanks! Food photography isn’t easy, especially when meat is involved! I had quite a few challenges at the restaurant too with the three types of lighting. http://itsjustjustin.com/archives/2008/06/10/wine-and-cheese-bistro-photoshoot/
This is great! I’m very proud of you.
Awesome. And yeah, food photography is really difficult. I bet Craig and Sara are both stoked.
